Welcome to pages of the Virtual Laboratory

The Virtual Laboratory of the Automatic Control is used as a mean for improving the basic knowledge about automatic control. It consists of virtual models of several laboratory models, which are placed in the laboratory of automation control at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. All student of this faculty have to absolve the practical laboratory exercises of the subject Fundamentals of Automatic Control. The website of the Virtual Laboratory can be visited and opened via internet from all over the world in common web browser and therefore enables not just to students, but to everyone, to improve the theoretical knowledge in this subject field. Animation and visualization makes it easy to observe and record the reaction of the real laboratory model on the defined courses of input signals. Several videos, photos and specifications of the real models and introduction to a number of exercises are also parts of the Virtual Laboratory. Additionally you can find lists of references, useful for finding more information and for improving the theoretical knowledge about the topic. The Virtual Laboratory gives to visitors the opportunity to work in several languages, such as: English, German, French and Czech.
